Annual Election & Budget Meeting 2021

Please note that all attendees will be required to wear a face mask for the entire duration of the meeting.

An official proxy will be arriving with the meeting notice. Please be aware if you assign a proxy to an individual, that person is appointed to vote on your behalf for all five (5) seats of the Board of Directors. The assigned individual is granted all rights and can vote for anyone in the five (5) seats.

If NO person is appointed as the holder of the Proxy, it will be used for quorum purposes only. Please strike through or write "Quorum" on the blank line.

A meeting of the LAKEWOOD PRAIRIE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION will be held on the date and the time stated above. The purpose of this meeting is to have the Homeowners elect FIVE (5) homeowners to the Board of Directors. The TWO (2) candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall each serve a THREE (3) year term. The candidates receiving the next highest number of votes will serve a TWO (2) year term and the last successful candidate will serve a ONE (1) year term. A copy of the proposed budget is attached below. A Board of Directors meeting will immediately follow this election in order to approve the budget. An open homeowner forum will be held to discuss any questions/concerns regarding the budget.

Any Owner interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors, please complete and return the Nomination Application by, Friday, November 26, 2021 so your name may be included on the Ballot. Any nomination received after November 26th will not appear on the ballot. Interested homeowners may run from the floor.

In order to hold this meeting there will need to be 10% of the community represented in person or by proxy. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the enclosed Proxy form and deliver it to the person named as proxy or return it to:
