Several beavers have built den sites on the east pond (behind Jones Elementary). They have exhausted their resources on the east pond and begun moving over to the west pond causing damage to trees along the bank. Trees cages were added in 2020 as a preventative measure but the beavers have now defeated several of the cages. The Association is currently working with a wildlife expert to trap and remove the beavers from the east pond.
