UPDATE - ANNUAL ELECTION & BUDGET MEETING

Due to the recent Illinois Tier 3 mitigations and for the safety of all our residents the Annual Election & Budget meeting has been moved to a virtual Zoom meeting.

Nomination Applications:

The Nomination applications from the pervious mailer must be submitted no later than 12/3 to be included on the Ballot. Any nomination received after December 3rd will not appear on the ballot. Interested homeowners may run from the floor during the Zoom meeting.


Ballots:

A printable ballot will be published on our website December 4th by 5pm.


A photo or scan of a completed ballot may be submitted to the following:

Proxy:

Please disregard the Proxy from the pervious mailer. This will no longer be used for the December 9, 2020 meeting and replaced with the ballot mentioned above.

A meeting of the LAKEWOOD PRAIRIE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION will be held on the date and the time stated above. The purpose of this meeting is to have the Homeowners elect FOUR (4) homeowners to the Board of Directors. The TWO (2) candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall each serve a THREE (3) year term. The candidate receiving the next highest number of votes will serve a TWO (2) year term and the last successful candidate will serve a ONE (1) year term. A copy of the proposed budget is attached below. A Board of Directors meeting will immediately follow this election in order to approve the budget. An open homeowner forum will be held to discuss any questions/concerns regarding the budget.

Any Owner interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors, please complete and return the Nomination Application by, Tuesday, December 3, 2020 so your name may be included on the Ballot. Any nomination received after December 8th Will not appear on the ballot. Interested homeowners may run from the floor.


In order to hold this meeting there will need to be 10% of the community represented in person or by proxy. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the Proxy form and deliver it to the person named as proxy or return it to:
