Letter from the Lakewood Prairie Board Of Directors

We strive to treat all homeowners equally, fairly, and without bias. Board members are required by law—as fiduciaries of the community association—to enforce all covenants, rules, guidelines, and bylaws. No Board can change the rules, the Declaration requires a community agreement of sixty-seven (67) percent. We have made several attempts and will continue trying to legally change any rule the community can agree on.

We will continue to maintain standards and values within the community. Currently, we have vetted all vendors to obtain the best service at a fair price. We as a Board have volunteered personal time to meet our vendors, walk the property and discuss issues of concern. We want to keep Lakewood Prairie looking beautiful.

We have implemented the Crime Free Leasing program, a state-of-the-art, crime prevention program designed to reduce crime, drugs, and gangs on small rental properties. This has been a huge step to keep all of Lakewood Prairie safe.

We created the Goodwill committee, to bring everyone together as a community. They have worked tirelessly over the last year to meet every single new homeowner and welcome them to the community. Created fun and exciting holiday contests and events. Hosted various food truck nights to bring neighbors together, enjoy some great food and have a conversation.

Lastly, we love Lakewood Prairie! This is all our home too, and we have the same interests at heart. We have made measurable strides to improve the community and are just getting started. We deeply appreciate the support.

Any homeowners that would like to vote for the current Board may attend the meeting on November 29th, or assign their proxy to "Board of Directors" and email to: info@lakewoodprairiehoa.com or mail to:
